I found a very bright orange pill, slightly more than half, with orange all the way through. It has -2 on one side and a P on the other with what seems to be an I above it. Any idea as to what this is? Thanks... ## Hi Venable, Right now the closest match I'm finding is a round light orange pill imprinted with a "2" on one side and a "P" on the other. However there doesn't appear to be any number or symbol above the P. This particular pill is identified as Dilaudid 2 mg, used in the treatment of chronic pain. Manufacturer: Purdue Pharma LP National Drug Code (NDC): 59011-0452 Does this sound like a possibility?

I am a 55 year old woman on hormone replacement .I have to get my prescription through mail order, and they wrote and said " medications that contain methyltestosterone have now been classified as a controlled substance". I take a estrog/methyl 1.25/2.5 every day . They also say that due to a new law through DEA I will now have to get my prescription as a 6 month supply or 5 refills max. Can you tell me if this is true or are they just jerking people around? ## Actually, it's been classified that way since 1990, under the Anabolic Steroids Act, it just hasn't been enforced previously. Learn more Methyltestosterone details here. There have been a lot of crackdowns happening recently to force pharmacies to start complying with laws that they were previously ignoring. So ye...

round white pill 1cm M' on one side--- 274 on the other ## Given the description provided, I located the pill to be Tamoxifen (20 mg). Tamoxifen is an antagonist of the estrogen receptor in breast tissue. Some breast cancer cells require estrogen to grow. Estrogen binds to and activates the estrogen receptor in these cells. Tamoxifen is metabolized into compounds that also bind to the estrogen receptor but do not activate it. Because of this competitive antagonism, tamoxifen acts like a key broken off in the lock that prevents any other key from being inserted, preventing estrogen from binding to its receptor. Hence breast cancer cell growth is blocked. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post bac...

I need to take 1 combiflam and 1 zintac at a time every day. last 15 days. what is safe time frame for this dose. how long can I take this is safe? I need to take this for 3 months at least, but I am worried is it safe? please reply. Thanking you ## Hello, Rocky! How are you? You should take these medications for as long as your doctor feels it is safe for you to do so. Some people take them for very long periods of time, if necessary. The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach irritation. Why do you have to take them for 3 months?

I can't find info on this anywhere...can someone pls help??? thx!! ## The closest match I've been able to locate has the imprint "0115 7018" rather than "0115 7008". I AMA having a very painful procedure today can I take 3 or 4 ativan just before to help me though it. I'm 65 and mostly healthy ## Very dangerous. You should NEVER take 3 or 4 under any circumstances! ## Hello I am having knee surgery in a few days. Is it ok to take my Ativan prior to surgery? If so how much is safe. I normally take 2 mg twice a day... ## Do not take anything, prior to surgery, or any medical procedure, without your doctor, or surgeons approval. Some medications may not be safe to mix with substances that may be administered to you during the procedure, which could result in dangerous, and possibly fatal, interactions. Ativan is a benzodiazepine, so it can cause side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, and sedation, combining that with pain relievers, or anesth...

Hi there ,I am going for a Ultra Sound guided Breast Core Needle Biopsy tomorrow after noon. The doctor had prescribed me 2 tablets of Ativan at .5 mg each. I had taken two before, and nothing happened. There was no drowsiness, nothing. I am extremely terrified about tomorrow, and need something for pain and anxiety. Would it be safe to take the 2 tabs (1 mg) of Ativan before bed, and the cyclo at 10mg right before the procedure? ## I wouldn't change what you are taking before the procedure, without checking with your doctor. Some medications may not be safe to have in your system, along with any medications they may use, such as anesthetics. Have you talked to your doctor about it?

1 mg Ativan IS OK TO SPLIT THE PILL CONCERNED ABOUT THE RAW EDGE BURNING MY STOMACH OR STOMACH LINING? IS IT SAFE TO SPLIT 1MG ATIVAN? ## Hello, Doodle! How are you? According to the FDA information, Ativan tablets are regular release formulations, so cutting or breaking one is safe to do, as long as your doctor approves. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Do you regularly have stomach problems? This medication isn't known to be very harsh on the stomach, but they can all irritate to some degree, whether cut or left intact.

I want to know which is stronger. The Ativan or Xanax? Which one lasts the longest? I have really bad anxiety so I wanted to know which one is better to take? ## Xanax is stronger than Ativan, it is actually twice as strong. You only need a half a milligram of it to equal each 1mg of the Ativan. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. However, the only way to know which one will work best for you is by trying them. Is there anything else I can help with?

ordered 1 mg tablets of lorazepam online to treat my anxiety. received my order in blister packs with tiny text on the back of the blister packs that I cannot really make out except that it does say lorazepam and to keep in a cool dark place. package came from india. i am used to seeing lorazepam in white tablets. these tablets are blue, round with no numbers but a half score. anyone seen this before? ## Well, the color of a pill really doesn't mean anything, that is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. However, without any markings, it is difficult to know what you may have received, but we can rule them out as being something that is approved to be legally distributed in the U.S., since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. Is anyo...

I'm trying to find out if I have a 1 milligram Xanax that has an IFA imprint on it and being oval-shaped ## What color is it? It should be Mexican Xanax but without numbers to correctly identify the pill its hard to tell ## Just wanted to add that the IFA imprint is indicative of "Investigación Farmacéutica, Mexico". If it make things easier, the manufacturer's contact email is: [email protected] However you may have send a translated version of your inquiry along with the English one just to be sure they understand... They have a phone number as well (re: 9000-5386, 9000-5387), but I'm not sure if that would help unless you speak Spanish? Nevertheless, I hope this info comes in handy!
