Calcitriol is the active form of vitamin D, normally made in the kidney.[8] It is often known by its biochemical name 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol. The manufacturer's web site has a patients area where you can enter your zip code to find a dermatologist in your area who might be able to prescribe it.
