Subsys Overview
Fentanyl, also spelled fentanil, is an opioid used as a pain medication and together with other medications for anesthesia.[3] Fentanyl is also used as a recreational drug, often mixed with heroin or cocaine.[5] It has a rapid onset and its effects generally last less than two hours.[3] Medically, fentanyl is used by injection, nasal spray, skin patch, or absorbed through the cheek (transmucosal) as a lozenge or tablet.[3] ...

Subsys for Pain
How long does it take to get off subsys, I have been on this for over 15 years for chronic nerve damage. What are the withdrawals and what other pain relief is instead of this. ## Hello, Jean! How are you? The FDA lists Subsys as containing Fentanyl, which is the most potent opiate available, thus after that long of a time period, you'll need to do a very slow taper. Your doctor should be able to help you set up a proper tapering schedule. However, since there is nothing else close to it available, I am not sure what else you may be able to use for pain relief. What dosage of it have you been on? The possible withdrawals may include nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, diarrhea, depression and rebound pain.

I have fibromyalgia! three herniated disks! soft tissue , t12 -l1 are calcified together, curved back, from birth, DDD, had two hips fixed in 91, ans need to be replaced again. Intense pain in groin area, feel pain in the long thigh bone-which is where the medal rod is. Titanium, cups and ball are lose. But because of ACA, does not met requirements , so I was told the Hip bone has to break before they will replace it. So the meds are not working since I have fluid pain situation and fibromyalgia the meds can not keep up the the increasing pain. Question does the company making subsystem leave free samples from the doctor, and where I can get a list of phamarcies that have. The rep for th...
