I am now taking madopar 125mg five times daily, rasagaline 1mg per day, and paramipexole er .375mg per day. The neurologist is about to change me to stalevo (its equivalent) 100-25-200. Will there be a change in dosage for any of the above, specifically, the number of times per day?

Parkinson's sudden changes drugs / disease / serotonin reaction?

Stalevo side effects.i have Parkinson's and recently got a whole host of problems including off scale Dyskinesia and manic behaviour and rigid jaw and tensions in my neck ... these have together caused huge problems and my health has deteriorated. Drug interaction rasagaline clonzapam, links to or causes of Serotonin syndrome.

When you switch brand names or generics, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. I hope this helps shed some light on why one may not be as efficient as the other, despite being t...
