It's says that it's Pravachol , but it doesn't look like it did last time and the pharmacy has messed up before so I don't know if I should take it? ## Hi, Jam! How are you? ## I think this post was referring to the medication Pravachol, which contains the active ingredient Pravastatin and is used to help lower cholesterol. Pain from Pravachol

I'm a runner and also have high bad cholesterol. I started Pravachol 1 month ago. 3 days ago was the last time I could run. It hurts when I walk. Lower left side of my back. At 1st I thought sciatica, but so sudden? ## I am not specifically sure about the side effects of Pravachol BUT the cardinal side efecct to monitor for with this class of drug is muscle weakness/pain.
