Mefloquine Overview

Mefloquine, sold under the brand names Lariam among others, is a medication used to prevent or treat malaria.[1] When used for prevention it is taken once a week and should be started one or two weeks before potential exposure and continued for four weeks after potential exposure.[1] It can be used to treat mild or moderate malaria but should not be used to treat severe malaria.[1] It is taken by mouth.[1] Serious side effects in...

54 but they are broke in half. Its not smooth on the other side there is a line right threw the middle of the opposite side. What is this, please help ## Hi Dan, From your description the closest match I'm seeing online is a white round pill marked with 54 111 on one side and scored on the other. It contains 250mgs of Mefloquine; which is used to prevent and treat malaria. Had there been no score line I would've thought this to be a generic Subutex tablet, since it shares the same imprint 54 411. But if you could double check the "4" to make sure it's not a "1" that would confirm whether or not Mefloquine is a prime suspect.
