Golodirsen Overview

Golodirsen, sold under the brand name Vyondys 53, is a medication used for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) in people who have a confirmed mutation of the dystrophin gene that is amenable to exon 53 skipping.[3] Golodirsen is an antisense oligonucleotide.[2] The drug was developed by Sarepta Therapeutics.
