Fluorouracil (5-FU), sold under the brand name Adrucil among others, is a chemotherapy medication used to treat cancer.[2] By injection into a vein it is used for colon cancer, esophageal cancer, stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, and cervical cancer.[2] As a cream it is used for actinic keratosis, basal cell carcinoma, and skin warts.[3][4] When used by injection most people develop side effects.[2]...

Fluorouracil and Calcipotriene combo reaction

I put this combo on face fro 5 days as prescribed. Pretty awful for 2 of the days but all clear after 2 weeks. HOWEVER, then I developed a bad rash on my chest - did not apply cream there. Doctor doesn't know but thinks maybe the absorbed cream went systemic. Cortisone helped. Now a similar rash has spread to my legs and arms. not burning but supper bumpy and itchy. Scrambling to find help. Has anyone experienced a systematic reaction to untreated parts of the body? ## You are definitely having an allergic reaction to Something.
