Elspar Overview
Asparaginase is an enzyme that is used as a medication and in food manufacturing.[1][2] As a medication, L-asparaginase is used to treat acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).[1] It is given by injection into a vein, muscle, or under the skin.[1] A pegylated version is also available.[3] In food manufacturing it is used to decrease acrylamide.[2] Common side effects when used by injection include alle...
