liquid darkens in color

Why does Centrum Liquid vitamins get darker in color by the time of the last few doses? Shaking the bottle doesn't make any difference; the last 3 or 4 tbsp. are darker in color. ## Hi Scarlett, This is just my theory, but I can only assume that one or more of the following ingredients aren't getting completely mixed in with the rest of the liquid & settling at the bottom due to their molecular weight and/or solubility: "Centrum Liquid Vitamin Ingredients: **Purified Water, Sucrose, Ethyl Alcohol.
