butazoladine vs budesonide

Are butazoladine (a very old med) and budesonide related at all. My husband was prescribed budesonide but has a history of anaphylactic rxn to butazoladine as a child. He was hospitalized for 4 days with systemic shutdown. I wanted to know if they were related drugs or not ## Can you please inform me how you got a prescription for butazoladine. I have bursitis in my shoulder and was told that it would cure the problem. I thank you for your assistance. ## where is BUTAZOLADINE available ## After taking Butazolodine for 25 years in large doses, my Dad died from cirrhosis of the liver caused by the drug. ## is there any med to replace budesonide? ## i am taking budesonide symbicort. where i can get a free sample of it
