Meclizine (INN,[1] or meclozine) is an antihistamine of the diphenylmethylpiperazine group considered to be an antiemetic. It is sold under the brand names Bonine, Bonamine, Antivert, Postafen, Sea Legs, and Dramamine II (Less Drowsy Formulation). Emesafene is a combination of meclizine (1/3) and pyridoxine (2/3). Adavert FOR DIZZINESS WHEN WALKING??

Dizziness, not stable when walking, bend over I am dizzy. Afraid of falling. Wonder if adavert would help? ## Have you consulted a doctor? The real concern here is what might be causing your problem. These symptoms could be caused by something like Orthostatic Hypotension, which means your blood pressure is dropping, when you make any sudden movement. If this is the case, then the Antivert, which contains the active ingredient Meclizine, will not help with that. Are you on any medications? Orthostatic Hypotension can sometimes be caused by blood pressure medications or by being dehydrated. If this is the case, it is very important that you rectify the situation. More details:

Antivert and slow heartbeat

Has anyone heard of a very slow heartbeat while taking this drug? My mom's went down to 30 and I was curious if maybe this drug could casue this. ## I'm no expert but I was prescribed it once for vertigo. It made me feel like a zombie. It also tended to cause some dehydration as well. Would definitely check with your mom's physician. ## My mom has been in the hospital for the past 2 days and since being off it she has improved, the Dr. says it wouldn't cause that but she has other medical problems as well. thanks for the reply. Medication is certainly different with each person that takes it. ## Does anyone happen to know when antivert was discovered and by whom, and if not a site i can go to to find out? ## what are side effects of Antivert?
