Amsacrine (synonyms: m-AMSA, acridinyl anisidide) is an antineoplastic agent. It has been used in acute lymphoblastic leukemia.[1] Mechanism Its planar fused ring system can intercalate into the DNA of tumor cells, thereby altering the major and minor groove proportions.
