Hi All,

I have been diagnosed with Ancalytic Spondalisis. I am having acute pain in my back. I am taking zerodol MR daily to relax (1 tablet daily at night). I am taking this medicine from the last 6 months. Please advise, will there be any side effect to my body or bones? Will you suggest any test for me to checkup the condition of the body?

Please help me on priority as I am very worried.

I am living in India.

Hi Gaurav,

Sorry to hear about the back pain you're experiencing.

From what I could gather, Zerodol MR contains the active ingredients: Aceclofenac (100mg) + Paracetamol (500mg) + Tizanidine (2mg).

As far as side effects go, this drug may cause the following symptoms: muscle pain and weakness, fatigue, dizziness, insomnia, headache, anxiety, nausea, hypotension, bradycardia, dryness of mouth, gastrointestinal disturbances, hallucinations, and hepatitis (which can be fatal).

And to answer your last question, you're probably going to have to set up some appointments with your doctor or health-care provider if you want to inquire about regular check-ups on your overall condition. No one online can do this for you, but if you need assistance in finding the right care, there are many people here on the site that would be willing to point you in the right direction.

I hope this helps!

I had two ZERODOL SPAS tablets two weeks ago to get some relief from my Mensuration pain. But, I am suffering from dizziness for almost a week now.
Is it because of the side effect ? I consulted a doctor and he prescribed me BETAVERT 16, ILATOP 10, CIPLAR-LA 40, but I did not get any relief. Please let me know what can I do to get relief from my dizziness ?

Hi. After having taken several zerodol p tabs, upon taking the last tablet my ankles were swollen for a day and my blood pressure rose. It's now been 6 days after finishing my course of treatment and the swelling didn't reoccur but my blood pressure remained high. Can you please explain if that's normal with regards to taking zerodol p and if my high blood pressure will regulate itself after it's out of my system?
