I have high blood pressure and no matter what the doc gave me it would not go down till they put me on alprazolam (xanax). That took it down. That was back in 1983. I am now going on 88yrs old and still on it. I also have a panic attack disorder. It has done wonders for me. At my age I have no intentions of stopping it.

Sherry, I also take Xanax with BP medicine. While it has not done wonders, it does work. If you plan on using it forever keep in mind your dose might need to be adjusted (lowered) as we get older.
