has any one using the OpanaER been able to get it approved through workers comp?

I really don't think anyone could give you a definitive answer for that, since comp coverage varies from employer to employer and from state to state. It would depend on who provides your employers comp coverage and what their policies are to cover certain meds.

I am on workman's comp now and this medicine was automatically approved. But like the other comment, it depends on the adjuster. Opana Er 5mg runs just over 100 bucks for a month supply.

I receive 5mg from workers comp. clam. Snort them, then talk to me about how they work....

As in the first response it will be up to which carrier you have for workers comp. I have been on Opana and Opana ER for almost 2 years and it was immediately approved by Workers Comp. Once workers comp was finished with insurance to get these 2 prescriptions is over $400.00. If there is an alternative drug try that for monetary reasons. As for the comment on this page about snort and then see how it works...ABSOLUTELY NOT. That is an abuse of this drug. Do your homework on this drug... don't listen to people who are obviously abusing it.
