Withdrawal Help

Been taking 720mg of oxy ER for 15yrs.9 80s a day
Have now tapered to 120 mg over the last 8 months. Wondering where to go after 3 5mg a day.
Do i go to norco?

What has your doctor advised?

Generally, rather than go to a different medication, they'd have you start skipping doses to eventually completely wean yourself off. For example, you'd take 3 a day one day, then 2 the next, then back to 3 and gradually start widening the gap every week or so.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Thx for idea, talked to doctor who doesn't know much about.says iam his first patient in 20 yrs to ask to taper off.
pharmacist says 10mg is lowest ER.
He suggested Norco but iam going to bring up your thoughts
has been no problem tapering other than a couple days of restless leg but it's taking a lot longer than I thought. Lol
