Hello,

I haven't come across a verifiable source yet, but from what little bit I could gather, other's have previously identified a white round pill marked with "CMC 176" as Sodium Chloride 1 Gm. U.S.P. made by Consolidated Midland Corporation.

If you could find a way to contact the manufacturer directly, I believe they would be able to verify its identity for you.

Sodium Chloride tablets are most commonly used to help reverse symptoms of sodium depletion.

You can learn more about this drug on the page for Sodium Chloride Details

I hope this info helps!
