Can you break the methadone 10mg into half??

Dear Samantha, yes, u can break them in half. It might b easier 2 get a pill cutter. They work great. U can get them at cvs or pretty much any pharmacy. They r sold over the counter.

Yes as far as I know, personally have broken in half over ten years. Have chronic pain and when I was not in as much pain I often only took half (5 mg.). Contact your pharmacist first, if you call your Dr. they might decrease dose, feeling you don't need as much, I am assuming you take for pain relief. If so may days you will need dose prescribed.

Wish that was my problem, after ten yrs. a new doctor said I abused, took other non-prescribed drugs and street pills. Without one blood-urine examination, so not one Dr. Will prescribe me even my meds. For Gastric Reflex, and also can't even find just a PC, non will accept me- even for non related pain issues. Can't beleive what this Dr. did. Take care,K

These white round 10mg Methadone pills marked "54 142" are very strong. Be careful with how much you take. Thanks.
