I recently gotten mine with RP and 5 on the back. Guess new drug manufactor. They seem the same strength as I Got a 5 brand name from the hospital. my wife gets 10s and wonder are they as good as these RP 10 compare to a brand name that hospital uses.

Hello, Rick! How are you?

The tablets with just an RP on one side and a 5 or 10 on the opposite are not Percocet. They only contain Oxycodone, with the number corresponding to the dosage, 5mgs or 10mgs.

Percocet also contains Acetaminophen with the Oxycodone.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Has anyone taken these than can chime in with their experiences?

Hello Rick
I also was given the RP gerneric brand a month ago. I found out right away that they were nowhere as strong as what I was used to. My usual pills have 512 on them and are larger. I take 5/325 for many years. After 10 years of going to my local pharmacy I think I'll be changing because his attitude was you get what you get. Hope this helps

I also love in Florida and first gut the ip brand and thought they were horrible, so I spent two days searching for a different brand and was finally given the rp 10, which its very difficult to ask a pharmacy what brand they carry by the way. I don't like this brand either, I think my norco 10,s were stronger.
