I have this pill. I'm not reading it upside down. It has no manufacturer marks. It just has the letters or numbers 4847 and that's all.

Hello Doug,

Unfortunately after extensive research nothing comes up for a pill with the imprint 4847.

I know that you said you weren't reading it upside down but just in case I found a white oblong pill imprinted with L484 that is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen (500mgs) which is a store brand or generic Extra Strength Tylenol. This would be an exact match to your description but only if read upside down.

If you are absolutely sure that you are reading it right side up it may even be a good idea to take it into a local pharmacy and see if they have any way of analyzing its contents.

I hope this helps.
