I am 40yrs old. I have MS, Narcolepsy, endometriosis, & migraines. Due to medications I am unable to take hormonal birth control. Insurance will not cover Copper T. I've begged for a hysterectomy so I no longer have painful periods or unwanted pregnancy. I already have 7 children, the 3 youngest are Autistic! My husband and I just found out I am 5wks 6days pregnant. The meds I am on cause serious birth defects but without them I can not function to parent the kids I have now. We can not afford an abortion. Is there anything I can do to induce a miscarriage? I do not want to be pregnant I need to be able to work and care for the kids we have here and now!

It is unfortunate that you feel you have no means to abort this fetus. There should be a Women's Clinic somewhere where you live. If there is not one where you live, try the next town near you. The Women's Clinic will assist you in getting an abortion in a Hospital. Unfortunately my daughter was in the same position as yourself. Of course myself, I told her that it was something that I didn't agree with but I knew the position she was in. So of course being her mother I had to stand beside her. I do not believe that there is a medication anywhere that would cause you to abort, honestly this is not something you want to do at home!! Please check for the Women's Clinic in your area, they will do everything they can for you and they don't judge you. This way you go into the hospital as an Out Patient, meaning that you will be home the same day. It will be done by a Obstetrician, and done properly. I wish you the best, it is unfortunate that you have to do this however, I would much rather see you go to the hospital via the Women's Clinic, that is what they are here for and they talk with you, do blood work, check the stage of the fetus etc. This way you are in Good Hands. Take Care my Dear and listen to what the Dr. tells you when you go in.
