Hi my husband was recently referred to pain management an was written two prescription s for oxycodone 15s an oxycodone 30s an we have been every where trying to fill them an everyone is saying they won't fill for this doctor, but he has a legal practice an dea number,so why is he able to charge people for the visit an write these prescription s if we can't fill them? Please help. I have to help him put his shoes on an pants onreally bad days. Medicare even approve him cause of his back issues an long term heath issues. An the medications are covered by Medicare,so I'm very confused on what the problem is. Help please, its not fair he has to suffer like this.

Snake,

If you have any other insurance (for instance blue cross / blue shield) you can fill them through the mail. They both use express scripts. I believe we share the same doc.

People think about it? Really! Damn! I have been seeing my pain management Dr. for a year and a half ok? And I have a broken clavicle sitting on top of my first rib!!! And can't have surgery to fix it because they have no way to reconnect the bone after they cut it apart to keep it from being bone on bone!!!! And I'm just on oxy 7.5!!! So what the hell are y'all thinking that you can go to a pain management Dr the first time and walk out with 15 and 30 oxy??? And half of you being out of state?? Stupid!!! Not gonna happen... but look for the First Lady with the husband? If you guys went to this place legit and was charged for services and he did write those then I would call his office back and tell them what's happening and let them tell you where to go to have it taken care of. And if they don't after y'all paid and it was legit and not y'alls first visit to this place then you also have the scripts in your hand with his signature and his Dea # and lic #! Call the Dea yourself and report his ass for seeing y'all and taking your money and let them know you can't get them filled for your husband who really has to have them!!! Just saying!!! People use your heads!!! Don't be stupid, because I promise you if it's your first visit to a pain doctor and they're writing you prescriptions for oxy 15's and oxy 30's, it's not legit!!! Trust me on this!!! My brother is in the DEA and my sister is in the FBI!!! Think people.
