What Other Drugs Could My Brother Be Taking If He Is On Naltrexone?

Hi. I'm concerned about my brother. He has been on Naltrexone now (again) for a H addiction. He's been doing great but today lots of signs pointed to him decieving us again and I'm sure he was affected by something when he returned to the party we were at after he disappeared (for an hour) to get smokes. I'm sure his pupils were constricted and he was sweating a couple of hours later (it wasn't hot here by the way). His wife watches him take his naltrexone every night before bed and is sure he doesn't spit it out. What other drugs could he still be using? We were hoping naltrexone would cancel out everything :(

Suboxone 8mg or subutex 8mg analgesic works by blocking the Nero receptors the same way. In some cases people use the subutex to get a high off it has more of that rush that I'm sure he is used to bieng that he was on H I'm not a doctor and I am by no means claiming that this is exactly correct but I have seen alot of this happen where I work hope he stays strong and try to get him to do 90 meetings in 90 days 12 step meetings work if you work them , god bless

I'm on naltrexone long acting im injection to stop nalbin addiction. I think I can't stop thinking in it only
Today for a sever pain I was prescribed a nalbin 20 mg iv injection. I'm afraid to take it for fear of readdict and fear of reaction with naltrexone in my body

hi iv had a speed appiction for 17yrs.Now cleen for 2 in that time iv tryed h oxy's you name it iv had it i fine when someone is acustom to one there willing to do other's sound's to me he's useing speed or ice meth all the same these days i find that ice or meth is a durty drug that makes a person run hot and it fry's the brain so watch out for paranoid or odd behavure

Hi Jain! If your brother is on naltrexone, then I find it hard 4 him 2 be high on other drugs. Naltrexone is an opiate blocker. Usually, one cannot feel high on it. U said his wife watches him take it, but, does she actually wait until it is totally melted and finished? If not, he could put it in his mouth in front of her, and remove it shortly after. Or, maybe, his dosage of naltrexone needs 2 b increased?
