What Is Use Of Clopitab
UpdatedSir,On 12 Aug 2014,I suffered from ischemic heart disease with diastolic dysfunction and mild LVH. LVEF was 35%approx.
I underwent PTCA to LAD,one blockage90%, on 16 Aug 2014. All other parameters were in normal limits such as HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, VLDL Blood sugar, Creatine etc. I am not diabetic. Treatment advised on discharge:
1) Clopitab 75 mg 1----0----1
2) Met XL 25 mg 1----0----1
3) Cardace 1.25 mg 1----0----1
4) Flavedon MR 35 mg 1----0----1
5) ISMO 20 mg 1----0----0
6) Atorva 40 mg 0----0----1
7) Ecospirin 150 mg 0----1----0
How long do I have to take all these tablets? I know allopathic drugs often have side effects.And I wanted myself free from them as early as possible. Within two months I reduced my weight from 92 kg to 81 kg by diet control and brisk walk daily for 30 minutes. I have been always health conscious and was doing regular exercises like swimming,pranayam.I never chewed tobaco, never smoked never took liquor.I never ate chicken and mutton.I used to eat limited fish and eggs. Being my all cholesterol levels ALWAYS within normal limits,I used to eat home made food freely..like idali dosa vada bhel shev puri pav bhaji etc....But outside eating was very rare.
My build from my child hood is heavy. I never suffered from any symptoms of cardiac trouble. The only trouble I experienced on 12 Aug afternoon was heavy sweating and little breathlessness. There were no pains anywhere in my body that time. In my company's hospital, Dr. admitted me in ICU,took ECG,measured BP and gave ELAXIM 40 mg worth Rs 39000/- My bp had gone up to 180- 120.
