Hello Nene,

The medication Tivenz is used to treat HIV, HIV infections and the hepatitis B virus. Tivenz contains the active ingredients Effavirenz 600mg, Emtricitabine 200mg and Tenofovir 300mg. The medication works by acting as a non nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor, reducing the activity of viral enzymes and decreasing the growth and amount of HIV virus.

I hope that this information helps.
