I have 2 different refills from 2 different pharmacys. One says metformin HCL 1000 mg and the other says metformin 1000 mg tab her . What's the difference of any

There is no difference in the medication, from what you've listed. The one with tab her after it just designates them as tablets from that manufacturer and these details were left off of the other bottle.
