Hello, Marie! How are you?

They are different medications. Percocet contains Oxycodone with Acetaminophen, while what you've currently been prescribed contains Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen.

However, dizziness, nausea and vomiting can be side effects of all narcotic opiates, so you may still experience such symptoms with this one, as well. There is also a risk of them being habit forming.

The only thing you can really do is try this one and see how it affects you. These are not time released, so if your doctor approves, you can cut them in half and try a lower dosage to see how it works for you.

Are there any other questions or concerns?

Yes they are dif meds hydrocodone is 1 step down from the oxicodone i have been dealing with chronic pain for decades been taking meds for it since 2k my doc upgraded my 10/325 hydrocodone to 5/325 oxicodone and i took the script back and told them it was wrong (nurse) it was supposed to be 10/325 hydro well nurse screwwed up and just said 10/325 and didnt say hydrocodone ... the dr came & ha ded me the script and started explianig that that is abig jump in meds i told him i dont want any increase of any kind then i read script and it was 10/325 oxi i stared laughing & handed it back & said its still wrong its supposed to be hydrocodone ..... i imagine a nurse had a retraining momment ... i have mo ed since and new dr wanted to increase meds and i said no i do not want to mask the pain to the point of causing more damage because i cant feel my body warning me of an issue thus i do what i can then rest if i do to much i may be in bed for a couple days but abusing medications would just make it worse and cause more issues so 1 needs to learn to work smart not hard and @ times smart hurts too
