Terramicina or "Terramycin" in english terms is an antibiotic marketed in several forms, including an ophthalmic ointment for treating eye infections specifically in animals such as horses, cattle, cats, dogs, etc... Every article of information I'm finding on the ophthalmic ointment points back to its veterinary applications, but nothing concerning human use. So with that said, I think it may be best to double check with your doctor before attempting to use it on yourself. Chances are that it might be just fine, but these days it's worth getting a professional opinion as well.

I use terramicina for my eye whenever I get styes. It is safe to use. Just make sure the one you get is specifically for Eyes. Hope this helps
