Hello, Hannes! How are you?

As listed by the FDA, the bacteria Lactobacillus Acidophilus is one that is naturally occurring in the body and this supplement is used to aid it back to restore the natural bacterial balance after someone has been one a course of antibiotics, or other medications that may eradicate it.

In some people, it may cause diarrhea and nausea, as side effects.

Is there anything else I can help with?
