Would like to know if anaerobyl is good for me if I want to conceive and my periods are not irregular with period pains?

Verwon Says:

No, this medication is an antibiotic that is only effective at treating bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and diarrhea.

It will not do anything to help you get pregnant, or regulate your periods.

Both of you need to consult your respective doctors to discover what the problems are and why you aren't getting pregnant.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi, I've been to the clinic because I've been experiencing pains in my womb. I've also been having a yellowish discharge for a couple of months now. Haven't been sexually active for the past 8 months and always used a condom in my previous relationship prior to visiting the clinic. Also did a pap smear on the same day. The nurse gave me Anaerobyl 400 and an injection. What could possibly be wrong with me? Will it stop the discharge as it is quite worrisome.

Is anaerobyl 400 safe for a pregnant woman in treating an infection?

Re: xolly shandu (# 9)

Anaerobyl contains the active ingredient Metronidazole; which is an antibiotic used to treat certain types of bacterial infections.

According to medical literature, Metronidazole is an FDA Pregnancy Category B drug, meaning that animal studies have not revealed evidence of harm to the fetus but that adequate, well-controlled studies among pregnant women have not been conducted either.

Posted below are some additional resources for more information as it relates to Metronidazole in pregnant patients:

[2] ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7856680

My personal understanding is that it's generally regarded as safe unless otherwise contraindicated at your doctor's discretion.

Hope this helps!
