What Does Methadone Show Up As In A Drug Urine Test

Will methadone show up as methadone in a pre employment drug screen? Or does it show up as opiate like Vicodin or something in thy family. I have a script for Vic but took a done for pain when I ran out

I took a urine at my methadone clinic last week and it came up positive for amphetamine and coke; something like that and i take didrex 50 mg and i know it can show up as a amphetamine but it didnt my last test and now they are making me pay to retest my urine to see what i took. but they gave my script for didrex so wouldnt they know that's what is in my urine? What does didrex come up as exactly in a urine for a methadone clinic?

Methadone has its own panel it will show up as methadone! I'm sure I'm on it and at NY reg doctor is shows up as methadone, and at the clinic and probation! Not opiates

Opiate. Methadone is an opiate but if you are prescribed the methadone it should t be a problem

Methadone is not an opiate. Do your research. It's an opiate blocker and it will show up on most ten panel tests as Methadone.

Methadone is NOT AN OPIATE....and it's true it only shows up if it's specifically tested for it...I just took a drug test for a union job and they tested for methadone...since it was a ten panel test....but something weird happened on my test...I am prescribed methadone and legally able to use it and was prepared to give all my medical documents..but I came up clean and took 80mg the day before. All I drank that morning was a Powerade and still came up clean....so at the end of the day all the info one hears is arbitrary...Just make sure you have all medical documents ready just in case

Methadone is synthetic. It is synthetic heroin. It was first used to stop heroin addicts from sharing needles. Not until years later was it found to be a pain pill.

Typical 10 panel doesn't include opiates or synthetic. A 10+1 panel specific to methadone will. Its the +1....

actually you need to do your research methadone is a synthetic opioid anything that derives from the poppy plant are called opiates and man made are iPods, morphine based. The man made opioids just work on different receptors.

Methadone is an opioid. It was invented during WWII by the Germans. They could not get enough morphine and methadone was synthesized. It was first used as a pain killer in German operating rooms. When I was on Methadone maintenance therapy the old doctor in charge was actually a field doctor in Germany when it was first invented.
