I just got my 'percocet" from Walgreens. I have been taking them for several years and they always look the same. This time the pill is shaped different, smells weird and has t132 on one side and just a line on the other side. Its still white and in a round shape but it's bigger and thinner. Is this a generic Percocet 5-325? Please help.

Hi Dee,

A white round pill with "T" over "132" on one side and blank on the back is identified as generic Oxycodone + Acetaminophen (5/325mg); used for moderate to severe pain relief.

Manufacturer: Camber Pharmaceuticals
National Drug Code: 31722-192-01

(5/325mg) Inactive Ingredients:
colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, pregelatinized starch, stearic acid and FD & C Blue #1

You can view an image of the pill by visiting the manufacturer's page below:

What's strange to me is that your description includes a score line on one side and this photograph doesn't... for clarification, perhaps contacting Camber directly would be best:

Piscataway, NJ 08854

(732) 529-0430

Hope this helps!

Does it smell sort of like vinegar? Are their speckles on it?

It's definitely oxycodone 5-325. Just got mine filled at Walgreens too. My prior prescriptions had diff. #s on them too. They probably changed manufacturers or use more than one. No need to worry. If you are concerned just bring them in to your pharmacist. The vinegar smell could be because they are old but that never happens w/narcotics. I mean they never last long enough at the pharm. to get old. Hope this helped a little.
