Yes that is a generic formulation for methadone 10 mg. tablets.Im afraid to say the reviews from clients being treated with this generic brand is less then favorable.Many complaints about symptoms consistent with withdrawal however still yet unsubstantiated.
This Opiod is extreamly dangerous if not taken as prescribed.

This is an older post but worth while answering for reference .NO IT DOES NOT!!!' opiate naive folks playing with pain pills for occasional hahas should stay clear of methadone. There far to heavy and does not provide the same euphoria that other opiates generally do. User beware this drug can be fatal at incrimental doses for the uninitiated .
These are far from percs or Vicodin ...

I have a pill that looks like a methadone pill in every respect (white color, rectangular shape with smoothed edges), however 1 side has a legible A, (not M) and the other side is illegible. I cannot find a matching description in any search. Can you help me identify this pill.

Yes! You are exactly correct, it's totally worthless if your Doc prescribed that crap to you for pain. It means he's clueless and knows nothing about pain. He's not taking you seriously or just really doesn't give a s*** about your pain. Unfortunately there are many doctors these days that are like that. Believe me, I know, I just got away from a sadistic little prick who has and controls the only pain clinic in my town - it's called Central Nebraska Pain Clinic. I've told people for a couple of years not to go there unless they want to be in pain. Once in a while he gets it right and helps someone then he is shown as a hero, but all the people he ****s over and makes them worse than they were before never get mentioned! I'd say the ratio is about 20 to 1. the other 19 like me are just ****ed! In 1974 I was T-boned in my '67 Le Mans by a '69 Roadrunner going 70 mph. I was in bed in the hospital for 5 months. I've been dealing with this s*** for almost 45 yrs. The older you get the more it hurts and as time passes it getting harder and harder to get the drugs I need for relief. I just need enough to function AND here's the big thing... JUST HAVE SOME QUALITY OF LIFE!!! Learn to be very careful what you say to anyone in the medical field and pretty much it will come down to just NEVER TELL THEM THE TRUTH. Sadly that's where we're at these days. Just keep pushing on...
