What Dental Drug Will Make You Test Positive For Cocaine On A Urine Test

I went to the dentist and was given novicaine and something else, then was tested positive for cocaine on a urine test the next day. What was it that did this to me? Thanks

I went to the dentist and was given Lidocaine HCL 2% with epinephrine 1:1000. I have fatty liver and due to a car accident I was taking hydrocodone 10ml.and methocarbamol 750ml. plus phentermine to lose weigh; some 16-20 day latter I took a drug test witch we knew it will come back positive on anphetamines and hydro due to the pills I was taking but, it came back positive on cocaine too and I have never even touch cocaine in my life so,my question is: it is possible that due to my fatty liver the dental anestesy could stayed in my body longer that it should and that was the reason for the false positive test ?

Yes I have been taking phentermine for a year to lose weight and gave half of one to my boyfriend and the next day got a random drug screen and tested positive for cocain and iI know he didn't do any BC he had took a drug test the day before with misdemeanor probation and passed then I gave him half and state probation popped him with a test the next morning and he failed for cocain so its . Percent positive that it was the phentermine0

We'll I'm also on phentermine and no cocaine for me. I was showing for much worse drugs like methamphetamine. Did you all have your test sent to a lab to prove no coke??

I've been taking tylenol 3's for about a week now, about 12 a day and I have to do a drug test. Will it turn up positive for cocaine? I was told that the codeine in the Tylenol will sometime turn your test positive for cocaine because of the codeine.

Just let whomever that's giving you the drug test know what meds you are taking just incase. I realize this was posted a yr ago but I just saw it.

Lidocaine will cause a positive result. The older numbing medicine will show up as cocaine. I have taken a test and it would show positive and I was getting a bunch of heavy dental work done and they used lidocaine and when I tested next time a week later, my levels were steadily rising and I hadn't taken anymore.
