i'd like some info on this please. i found this pill on the floor just before my 13 month old put it in his mouth! thank you for your help!

Is there any way the imprint could have read 'West-Ward 475'? If so then it's a 5 mg pill of Prednisone

That is correct, it contains 5mgs of Prednisone, which is a steroid class medication, that's commonly used to treat inflammation, allergic reactions, and some immune disorders. NDC: 00143-1475



Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, weight changes, insomnia, nervousness, and mood changes.

Brenda, it depends on how much he'd have ingested. Too many of them could have caused an overdose, with possible fatal consequences, but just one tablet would most likely just make him sick, for awhile, unless he's allergic to it. However, I am very glad that he didn't swallow it.
