Are you referring to Vyvanse?

It contains the active ingredient Lisdexamfetamine and is used to treat ADHD and Narcolepsy.

Common side effects may include: nausea, headache, insomnia and anorexia.

I have had chronic insomnia as long as I can remember until lately I will stay up a night then not be able to function for days if not a week later. I would constantly fall asleep no matter what I was doing. I was given 100mg Vivan for Narcolepsy. It took two to take effect and that took over an hour. Is there anything faster acting? I hate being a total zombie. It is affecting my entire life.

My Son is 12 now but in the past when he was younger we tried him on several different stimulants that was before he was diagnosed with a mood disorder & is medicated for that now!! :-) We had such bad luck with it before I'm not sure I want to try again but the school is trying to get me to let him graduate without a highschool diploma and I just don't want that so I think we need to address his ADHD any suggestions!!Thanks in advance..

No she's extremely smart sounds like to me, you're saying the Dr is stupid. My niece has a very bad case of this and she's 6 and they have her on related meds and she does great! Thanks to our great medical staff here in the US.

Doctors are all scared to prescribe the meds I need. I know, if I were on ADD meds, I could accompish so much. I just wish they would stop giving me the run around. Also, I was thinking of investing in Vavan.

Adderall is much better. Vivan doesn't do anything its very similar to vitamin C.
