V 3609 Not The Same As V 36 01

Updated

I definitely think the white v 36 09 is less effective...much less effective!!! I've taken Norco for many, many years for chronic back pain. I have degenerative disc disease and arthritis. I have multiple spinal fusions and my shoulders are shot from multiple rotator cuff repairs. I have gotten the white ones for the past two months. I have NEVER taken more than prescribed in the past but I get literally NO relief from the white ones! It feels like a placebo to me and I am beyond frustrated!! I can't take NSAIDS and I go to a pain Dr so I can't take any other type of narcotic and I am miserable!! Please go back to the Yellow v 36 01. They are NOT the same!!! Why would the white be cheaper for Wal-Mart if they are identical? Why would a manufacturer make the same medication with a different NDC #, a different color at a different price if they were the same? It makes NO sense!!!

Hello, Nancy! How are you? I am very sorry about the problems you're having.

However, this website does not manufacture any medications, it is an information only resource.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Have you contacted your doctor to inform them of the problem? They may have an idea as to a possible solution.

Have you considered getting it filled at a different pharmacy to see if they have one from a different manufacturer?

I think it's all in your head. I have the same ailments as you described on top of spinal spondyosis. I also have had to take these white 3609's, in which I found to be better! OR you're selling your pain meds and your customers are skittish of the new white 3609's, making it harder for you to get rid of. Now I am not saying that you are a drug dealer, im just letting my imagination run wild -after all we don't know each other. I definitely like these new white pills better. And I do exceed my daily dose with the yellow 3601's and I do not exceed with the white 3609's. Sure glad to find out that walmart has these.
