Use Of Tryptomer 10 Mg For Old Age People In Cramps

My father 85 having acute cramps & body imbalance.3 yrs back doctor prescribed treptomer 10mg. He continued and he was feeling well then and he stopped after sometime. But now again he is suffering with these symptoms. Can he again start Treptomer 10mg without consultation og doctor. Pl. Advise
