Trouble Gaining Weight!!

I am 29 years old male, 5 ft '9, with an average weight of 123 to130 on good days. My slender frame and high metabolism I definitely received from my parents. My mother having a very petite small frame and my father being very tall and skinny and always on the thinner side helped my problems. (Not too mention I developed my body through gymnastics and ballet and swimming in adolescence along with about two years battling a hard drug addiction around 15/16yo - I feel it was a long lasting effect on my physical development in some aspects).
I've tried everything! Increasing meals and higher protein, higher carbs, shakes, strength training, steroids (best resulted no side affects for me), marinol (since I'm not in the right states) to just start. I eat like a trash compared too it's unreal. What are my other options? With health issues that could eventually make this worse...I need help and can NOt be told to do anything about diet and exercise becaer been there done that. :(

Since you didn't mention what your health issues are, it makes it very difficult for anyone to make any suggestions.

Any given suggestion could be contraindicated, depending on what your medical situation entails.

Has your doctor made any suggestions?
