I would really be surprised if this is true.I would never order anything from overseas.if it were controlled doesn't mean US pharmacies wouldn't carry it.

When all states make is a schedule 4 (C-IV), you'll still be able to get it with a prescription.

You're absolutely right, it's about as worthless as taken an Aleve.

Tramadol will become a Schedule IV in all states, effective August 18, 2014. A dr can write a prescription for it or call it in.

BL is correct. Ultram aka tramadol will become a scheduled drug in August of this year. It will be a C-IV drug, the same class as Benzo's. The doctor can still call it in but will be restricted to 5 refills plus the initial fill. This has to take place within 6 months.

Its not a big deal, if your pain management Dr.writes you a scrip. This law is too make sure that GP's aren't writing scrips for people who don't need it or will abuse it.Anyone can get pain meds, but people must need meds not abuse meds and be willing to help yourself by trying alternative therapies.Try yoga and meditation, really helps.

i had my first test yesterday(8/19)trying to pick up my refill for tramadol at the pharmacy at an army clinic pharmacy.i was told that the pharmacy was totally out of tramadol, but to try back on Fri.when the next drug shipment was due in.duhh, don't you think that a military pharmacy, more than any other would be certain to back up their orders to be able to provide needed meds for our veterans&families.it should make no difference now that it is class 4 schedule med and scrip was written by a pain management doctor, pharmacies should have been forewarned to have tramadol in stock.
