Hi Jack,

Unfortunately I can't seem to find any specific details on a medication by the name of Torbutinic. Did you mean to say "Torbugesic" (butorphanol tartrate)?

Torbugesic is widely recognized for veterinary use in treating pain, so I wonder if this could be what you're referring to... From what I've read, it's often used in dogs, as well as cats and horses.

Torbutinic is when they mix a vitamin supplement with torbutol. The vitamin the use is Pet Tinic, with the torbutol name you get the name torbutinic. My dog has taken it. But the dosages would vary per dog.
