Verwon Says:

Tetan contains the active ingredient Telmisartan, this is an ARB that is commonly used to treat high blood pressure and congestive heart failure.

As to the duration of treatment, many people are on these types of medications for life, to control cardiovascular conditions and lower blood pressure. Such conditions must be kept under control.

Common side effects, which should actually wear off after your body adjusts to the medication, can include: nausea, drowsiness, stomach pain and headache.
