Test Positivei For Oxymorphone While Taking Hydrocodone

i taking hydrocodone 10/325 everyday along with flexeral,seraquil,xanax,cymbalta,lyrica and vitamin d pills.i have spinal degeneration,stenosis a buldge in my back and manyu more. i took a test and my spine clinic they first said the test was clean then a month later they call and say they found an oxymorphone in my system and cut me off of my painkiller but i didnt take anything else. i talked to a friend thats a nurse,he said that place comes up with false positives alot. why at first say its clean then it wasnt when i didnt take anything! i took a test from my regular doctor 2 days after they told me i tested positive. that test came back clean. the printout also says"consistent with use of tge drug hydrocodone low concentration may reflect impurity of another drug such as oxymorphone!!! ive taken hydrocodone for years and this is the first false positive.

Much of the problems with false positives are really due to the quality of the test that any given clinic or doctor's office uses. The less expensive, non-certified tests are known to show false positives anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time.

And one narcotic, such as the Hydrocodone you are taking has been known to cause false positives on them for its other narcotic relatives.

Has anyone done an actual blood test in a lab? That is what would give you the most accurate results.

I'm having the same thing going on right now with me. I'm in probation but I take and have taken Hydrocodone 10/325 for years and have taken over 50 drug test and now they say I have tested positive for codeine and oxymorphone. I know i haven't taken anything other then what I'm prescribed and can't figure out what would cause that. I have been doing some homework and been reading up on the impurities that are put in the drug during the process of making the pills.
Hopefully something turns up for the best proving that point but for now I'm being accused of taking illegal drugs..
