Telma-am + Amlovas Combination
UpdatedI am a 45 year old hypertension patient and have been taking Amlovas 50mg for a long time now. Recently my doc prescribed me Temla-AM 40mg + 5 mg. Is it safe to take both of these medications together?

You should take them both, if your doctor has instructed you to do so, it is far more risky to let your blood pressure levels get out of control, since that may result in heart attack, stroke, or congestive heart failure.
The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
Are you on any other medications?
