Hi,

I was married on 24th jun 2012. I have irregular periods from that time itself. Know I m taking doc consultation n she asked me to take regestrone tab if I miss periods every month even for 2 days. Please guide me on whether taking this medicine regularly will affect my planning for a baby?

Hello, Neha! How are you?

This actually contains a hormone that is vital to your menstrual cycle and fertility, so a lack of could prevent your becoming pregnant. Thus, it would be best to take this as prescribed by your doctor to try to regulate your cycles and increase your chances of having a healthy pregnancy.

Is there anything else I can help with?
