Take Homes In Las Vegas Nevada
UpdatedI live over 70 miles from any methadone clinic. I'm in rural Pahrump, a city with zero treatment options. I'm waiting on a hip replacement. Everything hurts so much right now. Only my husband is working but I have to drive since he has no license. He can't miss work in the morning and my clinic closes at 11:30 so we are loosing his hours at work paying about 20$ a day in gas and I hurt so bad after this I can only drive us to the clinic every other day. Because of this they won't raise our doses or ever give us take homes. This can't go on. I need to get my surgery and stay clean (we both are clean about 5 months. So Sahmsa has a exemption for people that are disabled or have jobs and no time to go to a clinic that is a 3 to 4 hour drive away. When we presented our clinic with paper work they said they can't do it because they are not governed by Sahmsa. How are they able to say they won't follow federal regulations? They basically said we should loose our house and jobs if we ever want to get a dose increase or take homes or just I guess say f*** it and start taking smack again. We are at our wits end with clinics and docs that won't prescribe methadone. If you have any suggestions or help to offer we would really appreciate it.
