Synvisc Injecctions

my wife is diabetic. she had the 3 synvisc injections one week apart. after the second injection her blood sugar dropped by about 20%. after the third shot her blood sugar dropped another 20%. she takes 1 injection of lantus per day. she has had to reduce this by 75%. we cant find any information on synvisc changing a persons blood sugar level and dont know if the events are related

I've done more searching and so far, I've found one mention of another women having low blood sugar after starting Synvisc, but she had quite a few health problems going on, so it was never actually definitively tied to this medication.

I had a shot of SynVisc yesterday and my BG is 3x higher than usual. Woke up with 336 when it is usually about 110-120 in the morning. The only thought in BG dropping is that your wife might be in less pain and might be more active, both may result in a lower BG reading.
