Hello, Naomi! How are you doing?

Are you on straight Buprenorphine or are you on the generic for Suboxone that also contains Naloxone?

What dosage are you currently taking?

What dosage did your doctor prescribe?

This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation.

I was on 120mg of methadone/day for 3 yrs. I have been on buprenorphine for 7yrs. It will take your brain a while to adjust to the switch. Probably 10 days.. Methadone is a full on opiate agonist, ppl die from methadone all the time. Bupe is much safer, and actually has a ceiling effect of like 32mg (which is a crazy amount anyway). But w bupe I actually don't feel like I need anything else. I don't drug seek, I function better, look better, (not all dopey) and have my life and am not a slave to this crap.
