Has your doctor prescribed them for you?

These are both antibiotics that are used to treat or prevent infection, but it is not appropriate to take them, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so.

That said, yes, they are often used together to ensure an infection is fully eradicated.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash, headache and diarrhea.
